From one of our greatest thinkers Malcolm Gladwell comes this new project called The Domino Project (Powered by Amazon).
The project presents a new take on the future of 'e-books' where people who are 'idea sneezers' are able to share this with their friends. Kind of like connectors in Gladwell's book 'Tipping Point'.
In addition to this Gladwell and his team see the product shifting to encompass multi-packs and sharing with friends to create viral ideas and get quality thoughts out to the world.
It's an interesting way to think about books. Who would have thought that we would all go and buy 'thought leadership' for our friends in the future. However, it's like a combination of a book club and a meeting of the minds. Then there's the Malcolm Gladwell effect - surely he is from the future and this will come true.
There's a myriad of other online publishing based ideas on the domino project as well which is an interesting and thought provoking resource.
